My name isXXXX XXXXX and I am working in LIC of India, Branch XXX(Bandra Mumbai- 50) as a “Development Officer” since last 14 years.  I Commerce graduate and have a Professional Degree in Life Insurance of ‘AIII’ (Associate from Insurance Institute of India).  I am undergoing Fellowship in Life Insurance which is the highest degree in Life Insurance from Insurance Institute of India and would be completing the same within a year time. I recruit and train Agents for LIC of India.

I am leading a team of 55 Agents. My Agents are from diverse fields such as Stock Brokers, Teachers, Chartered Accountants, Lawyers, Estate Agents, Certified Financial Planers (CFP), Marketing Executives working in various companies, Businessman, Housewives etc. I believe in team work and whatever my achievements are there in LIC is actually the achievement of my team. Together we have insured 10000 families in a journey of 14 years.

I believe in Job satisfaction and Entrepreneurial spirit which has been present in my job as a ‘Development Officer’. I don’t believe in promotions in Job only for status and just due to these reasons have not taken promotions all through these 14 years. (I would have been Marketing Manager in charge of whole Division which comprises 20 Branches today had I accepted the promotions).  I have been given the opportunity not only to work like an Entrepreneur but also produce Entrepreneurs. I would like to share our ‘MISSION’, ‘VISION’ and ‘CORE VALUES’ as a team.

To build and lead a team of 200 Successful LIC Professionals by 15/1/2014 and 500 Successful Professionals by 15/1/2016 thereby build 500 Success Stories by Jan 2015and to protect and insure 3 Million families by 25/5/2028 (Day of my Retirement in LIC as a Development Officer).
